Founded in 2014 in response to a client’s need, Women of Burgundy has hosted seminars, book clubs and feature events over the years to ignite curiosity, build confidence, connect with inspiring women, and foster a supportive community.

Since our launch, Women of Burgundy has reached more than 1,300 women and men. We have built a deep and strong community of over 470 members who attend our events regularly.

Charting a Path for Women & Wealth

We believe that nurturing the women in our community to be confident and competent investors will create ripple effects for generations.

The women we educate today will go on to influence the people in their lives, helping to reshape the narrative around gender roles in investing and wealth.

What we are building is not the norm. We have canvassed the Canadian landscape, and we are one of the first investment firms to chart this path with this level of commitment.

We highlight successful women leaders in investing and in business to provide role models for other women.

By encouraging the women at Burgundy and the women in our networks to put themselves forward as experts, we are helping make women’s talent more visible. In doing so, we are removing barriers that may prevent us from taking a lead role in managing our wealth.

FOCUSED ON LEARNING & CONNECTION

The annual Minerva Summit in Toronto brings together our community of women and men to explore meaningful themes through a woman’s lens. Past topics have included investor education, generational wealth, eldercare, legal & tax planning, philanthropy, and more.

In addition to our in-person audience, we welcome a growing virtual community of Burgundy clients from across the country.

We are excited about the Summit’s future and remain dedicated to fostering a platform where our community can learn from and be inspired by leaders on topics related to women and wealth.
