After working for a family-owned construction business, Usama was enthralled by the business world and wanted to learn more about investing. His curiosity led him to pursue a graduate degree in finance, which proved to be a cathartic experience as he finally made peace with not becoming a professional cricket player. Usama joined Burgundy in 2017 after being drawn by the firm’s investment philosophy and emphasis on client service. He currently serves as an analyst for Burgundy’s Concentrated Global Equity Strategy, contributing to investment research and analysis. He also engages with institutional clients invested in Burgundy’s global equity strategies.
