Lucas discovered value investing, not unlike many practitioners, by reading Benjamin Graham’s The Intelligent Investor. The book provided the first load-bearing wall in Lucas’ investment-thinking house. He enjoys combining quantitative and qualitative analysis with common sense while researching investment companies. Lucas also appreciates that the long-term validity of investment decisions can be assessed with an impartial yardstick, offering a helpful and uncompromising feedback mechanism.
