James Boulter, CFA
Deputy Portfolio Manager
Area of Focus
- U.S. small/mid-cap equities
James discovered investing at a young age, and his interest deepened after he purchased his first stock in the 10th grade. Early on, he was drawn to the way markets reflect both short-term sentiment and long-term value, and how that tension creates opportunities for contrarian investors. This dynamic is particularly evident in U.S. small- and mid-cap stocks, which have been the focus of his career. One of the things James finds most rewarding about his work is meeting and investing alongside entrepreneurial management teams who have built outstanding businesses. Together with the rest of the U.S. small- and mid-cap team, he enjoys the constant hunt for great new ideas and the shared pursuit of strong long-term investment performance.
