Following the retirement of Vince Hunt on September 30th, we are pleased to announce that James Arnold will assume lead portfolio management responsibility for Burgundy’s fixed income and money market strategies.
We have prepared for this eventual succession for a long time. James has been an integral and trusted partner of the fixed income team since joining Burgundy in 2017. Over the years, James has assumed increasingly significant roles within the team, including serving as sole or co-portfolio manager for all of Burgundy’s fixed income strategies. Given his expertise and dedication, James is well equipped to lead Burgundy’s fixed income efforts, alongside the support of Investment Analyst Hayley Conacher. The team will continue to be integrated with the broader Burgundy Investment Team, working alongside their equity counterparts.
